This morning I wrote about my dear, dear friend Stephanie Chance but I decided to also share that post below on this blog and write a bit more. Sometimes God places people in your life that you have come to realize are worth more than all the diamonds and successes in the world. One of those people is Stephanie Chance. Here are just a few of our photos of our big adventures then you can read what I posted on Facebook today. Everybody should be so very fortunate to have a friend like Stephanie, I have more but today the feature is on her on our Breathless Bubbles and Wine posts. She’s the real deal and I just want her to know just how much she means to me, how much I appreciate her friendship, and everybody, this is a wonderful, wonderful woman. Love you, Stephanie, best friends FOREVER!
I would like to say something about Stephanie Chance. In my life, there has never been a lovelier person, friend, an angel. Stephanie saw me struggling as an art student and built a gallery space in her shop for my art. She believed in me and did she ever. She sold my first work my ceramic “Moon Goddess”, (hard to let go as a personal triumph for me but went to a very lovely person and now friend), and more and continues to support me as a friend and artist by giving me incredible space in her Decorate Ornate.
Now let me tell you about her shop, it is heaven to me. Some of the most beautiful and unusual, museum quality artifacts in her store. It’s incredible and a visual feast for the eyes. I am so at home at Decorate Ornate I could move in which brings me to her home.
Stephanie’s home is the most gorgeous place on the planet, like a museum from all her finds in Europe and beyond but so ever so comfortable and welcoming. Stephanie hosted my Pulpwood Queen Christmas Party this past year and her culinary and hostess skills are over the top and you have to check out her book “Beautiful Seductions”. The book sits front and center on my living room coffee table for all to peruse and dream.
Next, her Decorate Ornate trips, the Pulpwood Queens have gone multiple times and now I truly know what it must be to be the Queen. You are treated like royalty and there is no detail missed. First real vacation I ever experienced and with Tony Filaci and Nino, you have not a single worry as you discover magic from her fairytale adventures. I give them five diamonds in the PUlpwood Queen TIARA and that is because Stephanie is the crown jewel of tours.
When God brought Stephanie Chance in my life, it changed everything for me. Never will there be a truer friend. Never will you feel more loved and you have to read her books, you’ll laugh your head off and I know one of our crazy adventures going to the Mama Mia church in Greece is going to be in her next book. You just cannot make this stuff up. The happiest times I have spent in this life, except for with my daughters, is with Stephanie Chance. How’s that for a recommendation? I am so proud of all these authors and books! Quite frankly, these books with the Breathless Wine is what life is all about my friends. Sharing your life with others and making memories to last a lifetime. I love you Stephanie, you always just make my day!

Good Morning to all of our friends at Breathless Bubbles & Books! For those who don’t know me, I’m Stephanie Chance, owner of an unusual shop called Decorate Ornate, filled from floor to ceiling with things found from my European buying trips, and the owner of Decorate Ornate Italy Tours. I have written two books and currently writing the third. I write about the “true adventures” the Americans experience on my Italy tours and the storybook places we go, along with my Sicilian partner, Tony. This May of 2018 will be my eighteenth year of taking Americans all over Europe on fairy-tale adventures and having my shop.
My first book, Mamma Mia, Americans Invade Italy, is chalked full of hair-raising adventures throughout Italy and beyond. After reading the first two chapters you’lll think this can’t be true, but, oh, hang on for more, because it’s all true, so scandalous and hair-raising. After leaving the legal world as a paralegal for seventeen years, I started an importing store, Decorate Ornate, in May 2000. A few weeks afterwards, the Italy tours started and I’ve been taking Americans back and forth two and three times per year, all over Europe for eighteen excited years now.
After our first Italy adventure, zigzagging all over the fairy-tale villages, it wasn’t long until the words spread around the globe…the ‘unbelievable’ situations the Americans created in Italy and throughout Europe. Everyone started saying, “You must write a book. Everyone needs to hear about these ‘hair-raising’ situations and the ‘hidden’ gems of Italy.” So, I did, and it was a huge success. Mamma Mia, Americans Invade Italy, left readers begging for more of our escapades.
Afterwards, I was asked to write a book about my home, my love for decorating, my shop, Decorate Ornate, what I do with the unusual things found throughout Europe. Therefore, I did with pleasure. My coffee table book is titled Beautiful Seductions, From Italy to Decorate Ornate. I take you throughout my home of decorating for all occasions and glimpses into my Italy adventures. In between my Italy tours and shopping abroad for Decorate Ornate, you’ll find me in my shop, somewhere, camouflaged within the huge array of fabulous finds.
